We are currently analyzing data using various graphical representations. Students will also study probability, calculating functions using input-output tables, integers, temperature and elapsed time. We will be reviewing previously covered concepts in preparation for the upcoming TAKS test on homework and in class.
All class notes will be maintained in student composition books using Cornell format.
Student's homework may consist of any of the following: vocabulary study, uncompleted classwork, basic skills review, or assigned problems from the current math workbook.
Students are quizzed on concepts we've covered in class as well as basic skills mastery. Students will have a district formative assessment at the end of each nine weeks and will also be spending time preparing for the upcoming TAKS math exam.
