This 2nd nine weeks in My Class: We will cover some of the following topics-

Reading/Language - retell a story;recall characters and story events;name familiar people,places,things,actions;follow a schedule

Math - read numbers;use counting skills;name spatial positions;name money amounts/coupon prices; record data and timelines

Social Studies - name community helpers/locales and functions;identify community/school signs;name emergency information

Science - demonstrate safe practices; recycling process; five senses; name animal life

Functional Living - food goups; simple appliance use;clean -up surfaces;clothing and hygiene care

Recreation/Leisure - leisure activity;assembly line;sportsmanship;work endurance and job effort

This 2nd Nine Week's Homework: May be given once a week and is for enrichment purposes to support the concepts covered during daily class work.

Upcoming Test: Weekly teacher observation and student demonstration and work samples.

Upcoming events - Haunted house fundraiser on October 28-29-30th
Instructional SAISD bowling activity on November 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Area bowling tournament on November 11th from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
